WHO I FOLLOW

We all have our people, the ones we go to when we need inspiration, recommendations, and advice. We also have our go-to brands. The ones we recommend to friends over and over. This page will highlight the people that inspire me, make recommendations to me, and advise me. It will highlight products and brands I use when I travel. I’m thrilled to share them with you.

I hope I am Lost and Found is a place you go to get inspired. Watch this space.

Eric Hrubant

I met CIRE Travel president, Eric Hrubant, in 2019 and we became fast friends. Eric, like me, has a passion for luxury travel. And, like me, he’s a bit OCD about trip planning. Eric’s company, CIRE Travel, is a concierge-style travel agency that specializes in vacations, honeymoons, and group travel. They have corporate clients, as well. CIRE knows everyone in the travel industry, which means special perks and upgrades for their VIP clients.

I write monthly articles for CIRE about my travels around the world. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of a team that is so dedicated to inspiring and organizing one of the things I love most: travel.

Karima Portrait

A Note on Style has become my latest guilty pleasure. A highly-curated website of all things on-trend—fashion, design, decor, and travel, among them. Karima Hunter, a former fashion buyer, is the founder and creator of A Note on Style. She combines classics with a modern twist, which just happens to fit my tastes seamlessly.

Karima’s mood boards depict the latest takes on timeless styles, many of which have led me to make an extravagant purchase or two. I am forever a fan.

Grant Maye is my behind-the-scenes lifeline. I don’t think my website would be still running without him. His boutique digital marketing agency, GITPIXELS, has a strong focus on web development and specializes in SEO, logo design, and social media marketing. It’s an agency whose talents and specialties run far and wide in the digital space.

Perhaps, his best talent, in my opinion, is his ability to be there for me whenever I’m in a technical bind, day or night.

Hidden gems, off-the-beaten-path destinations, and listicles galore, Off the Beaten Travel is a hub for all of the above. The website is run by Sasha & Megnote, human rights and education advocates, who spent the last two years crisscrossing the U.S. with their young son. They’ve been to 50 countries, 48 states, and 34 national parks. Whoa! You can see why their travel website has become such an incredible resource for when I want to get away from the expected.

I first met Sarita Simpson in 2011 when she helped me source the iconic Saarinen table we still dine on daily. We reconnected recently and her design and style are as fresh and on point as ever. Her latest venture is Interior Matter—a full-service residential interior design firm. From initial concepts and planning to selection, sourcing, and impeccable execution, Sarita and her team create interiors that inspire wholehearted living.
